Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both a member and the captain of the 2012 Fierce 5 and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics and the 2016 Olympics in London. She also took home a bronze on the balance beam. This made her the first American gymnast at the Olympics to earn the most medals. She and her partner Gabby Doug were the very first Americans that won back-toback team golds. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around competition and floor exercise. After the 2 Olympics she had taken her time from competing during three consecutive years. In addition, she was part of the gold-winning American teams in 2 World Championships. At the age of 2 She began learning gymnastics. Her favourite event is gymnastics on the floor. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in honor of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She plans to pursue the field of fashion, and wants to develop her signature line of leotards and socks in the near future. The book she is working on is named Fierce that will be released in the coming months.
